It is domestic. Delicious
The tonkatsu at this eatery is tasty and very reasonably priced. The entire operation is run by an elderly couple who were cheerful, and the clientele seems to be regulars.
It is a very delicious pork cutlet. It is thick and slightly pink. The cheerful owner's tone was very pleasant. The pickles were also light. The best is miso soup containing a lot of shijimi or rice that makes you want to refill even if you are full. Be careful as there is no parking lot.I will go again. It is a shop that you want to visit every day.
Tiny shop, counter seating only, all regulars. For 800 yen you get tonkatsu, rice, miso soup, pickles, and green tea. Needless to say it was all very good.
Konichiwa... Tonkatsu... And my Japanese was exhausted, but the lovely owners knew why a simple North American had looked for such a busy little place 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷 👌
So far the best shrimp-katsu I ever had in Tokyo with a great service by the old couple running this small but cozy restaurant together. They don't speak English but I could order by using the pictures people uploaded here without any problem. Paid ¥1150 for everything in this picture.
Delicious and super friendly. You eat pay and get out. Great food to go along with great experience.
Speaking of pork cutlet, there are many people who first come up with Jimbocho and a little maniac Iidabashi. All of them are now closed (by the way, I just quit, not debt), and there are quite a few people who sometimes miss that taste. Yes. I would like to introduce you to Bakuro Yokoyama's potato. It's genuine, "that" potato. Rice with honey, miso soup with shijimi. With these alone, the fans who know the past are drooling and tears. First, the basic loin set meal. At this shop, it is cut thicker than the loin of that time. Moreover, with a urine. In addition, you can enjoy pickled plums and pickled radish (although you can't get angry even if you pile up a heap, it's a good idea to put it on a corner of the plate for a little rest). The price is 900 yen. Oops I forgot. A large serving of rice and cabbage is also free. It's an essential taste, but I've been a commuter kid for decades, so let's push the drum. Without a doubt, it is the taste of "that" Imoya-san.
Imoya owned by a humble and friendly elderly couple, has the best pork cutlet that I have found in Tokyo so far, and I have tried many. It's atmosphere is traditional Japanese restaurant which serves up to 11 pax. They serve fresh pork cutlet with clams miso soup, seasoned vegetables and thinly sliced cabbages. Their mustard sauce is very tasty, goes very well with the pork cutlet. I highly recommend this restaurant to people who have craving for Tonkatsu. :)
Only 4 things on the menu and 12 seats (prepare to wait) but this is Incredible Tonkatsu. Run by a sweet Japanese couple who’ve mastered the motions. Must visit when you’re in this neighbourhood of Tokyo.
Super tasty tonkatsu for a really cheap price ! We went there before the grand sumo tournament and had a really good time : the chef prepares and cooks tonkatsu in front of you and the staff is really friendly . We tried the pork fillet (which was our favorite), the loin and the squid tonkatsu as an appetizer. If you are nearby, definitely worth a try!
Fantastic tonkatsu. Friendly owner couple. Side fritters recommended. No English menu.
It's good. It's thick. I had eaten a lot of pork when it was said to be delicious in Tokyo, but I haven't seen it any more, including cospa. The shredded cabbage is also exquisite. It seems that the pork cutlet became a little smaller a little while ago and the price was actually raised, but it is a response that you do not mind.Only one. My father is an Edo kid, so I'm in a bad tone. Don't do it! is. You may be afraid that people who are unfamiliar may be angry. The person himself knows that, so he doesn't speak much. Therefore, there are many interactions with regulars who are familiar with this. When I feel blunt, it's just my father showing shy thoughts that it may make the customer uncomfortable. If you find out that the Edokko dialect is OK, your father will also be happy to bite you into spicy conversation. Then, the corresponding amount of gentleness is given by the wolf to give "Thank you". Oh eat!
